In 2011, he announced his retirement due to illness, and since then he has not been active in public, which worried his fans. In 2017, he returned and retracted his retirement and started the “Not Dead Yet Live Tour”. The second day of the 5-day performance in Cologne, Germany, held from June 11th to 16th, was recorded in 132 minutes in a digital audience recording. The 2010 “GOING BACK TOUR” was only 10 performances, but this time it was a full-scale tour. Also, the live in the UK, where 6 performances were scheduled before this, was canceled because Phil fell and injured himself at the hotel, which caused concern, but the German performance was held as scheduled. And the long-awaited comeback show was a greatest hits live show that summarized his career, with a generous performance of golden 80’s hits, including Genesis numbers such as “Follow You Follow Me” and “Invisible Touch”. In addition, one song each from the 90s albums “BOTH SIDES,” “DANCE INTO THE LIGHT,” and “TESTIFY” was selected, and Vera Lynn’s “If You Love (Really Love Me)” was also performed as an encore, making this a truly Collins history.
