This nearly complete recording of the June 28th Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, show from the 1987 US tour accompanying the release of the smash hit “So” was recently unearthed and leaked by a source. This recording appears to have been a line-level recording directly connected to the PA system owned by a source at the time. While it lacks a slightly live feel, the stereo soundboard recording offers a wide, direct, and powerful quality. Aside from a few fade-out sections, the entire set is good enough to pass for an official bootleg. The set, which includes hit singles from his solo album “SO” (“Sledgehammer”), “Don’t Give Up,” and “In Your Eyes,” as well as a comprehensive selection of tracks from his four previous albums, makes this one of the best live performances of the ’80s, making it a must-listen for fans.
