The official “SCOOP” is a series of compilations of rare recordings by Pete Townshend, released in 1983 as “SCOOP”, 1987 as “ANOTHER SCOOP”, and 2001 as “SCOOP 3”. While some of the vast demo recordings from the past have been made public, this album focuses on the 70’s, and includes rare tracks from representative songs such as “My Generation” and “Magic Bus” to unreleased songs that have been stored away. Everything from the basic acoustic demos to the unedited versions is compiled in master quality and on a soundboard, making it a valuable document until it is officially released.
