Description
The sound source of British female vocal punk band Penetration’s superb Whiskey A Go Go performance is now available. This set has been generously shown from the 1st and 2nd. Pauline Murray’s husky and noisy vocals, which would probably be better suited to pop music than punk music, are irresistible. The debut single “Don’t Order Me” is a punk classic, and of course it’s full of energy, but the cover of US punk queen Patti Smith is also so cool that it makes you laugh. The band’s name comes from the title of a Stooges song. They are one of the most important bands in the new wave ladder.
