The definitive version of the 1973 Newcastle performance, coupling the classic 1973 soundboard live with the audience recording of the same day’s performance! The first disc contains the new remastered soundboard, and the second disc contains the first appearance of the audience. First of all, disc 1 is the first pseudo-complete recording, with the stereo soundboard (SBD) as the main focus, and the missing songs and inter-song parts supplemented with new audience (Aud) recordings. The SBD of this performance has appeared many times in past titles, but there were various problems such as not recording all the songs, poor editing, excessive sound processing, pitch deviation, mono instead of stereo, etc., and it was difficult to come up with a title that could be called the definitive version. This time, the SBD section reviewed the three versions from scratch and carefully remastered them, smoothly supplementing the Aud sound source. There has never been a full-song recording version in which the SBD was supplemented with the Aud sound source in the past, so although it is only pseudo, this is the first complete recording. The songs supplemented with the Aud sound source are Say You Don’t Mind, Turkey In The Straw (a familiar folk dance song) and Happy Birthday (Denny Sewell), which were performed around this time after the performance of Wild Life. The opening and ending parts of the live performance are also supplemented smoothly and without discomfort with the Aud sound source, which is longer than the SBD. This is the definitive version with a recording time of about 69 minutes. Disc 2 is a mono audience recording version of the same Newcastle performance, and contains the full-length version of the sound source used to supplement the first disc. In recent years, this Aud sound source has appeared on the Internet, covered in extremely evil and mesmerizing digital noise, but the one used for this title is not that online source, but an underground version obtained exclusively by this label, provided by overseas Wings fans and not available on the Internet. The recording itself is the same as the online source, but the sound quality and recording time are clearly higher quality than the online source, and it is an upgraded version that surpasses the conventional distribution source. The opening before the live performance, which was not recorded on the online Aud source, is recorded for about 1 minute, and this part is recorded about 4 seconds longer than the intro part of the SBD source (it is also used as a supplement to the opening part of the first SBD source this time). Soily, which follows the opening, is also recorded from the intro (about 1 minute of performance is missing in the online source), and the ending part of the live performance is recorded for about 1 minute 50 seconds longer than the SBD and about 1 minute 15 seconds longer than the online Aud. This part is valuable, including not only the cheers of the audience but also Paul’s first appearance of MC this time.
