Description
The third installment of Paul’s 2017 Japan tour is a pre-release item for the final show at the Tokyo Dome on April 29th, including the sound check, on 3 CDs. As proven by the past two Japan visits, the strongest tag team EVSD + XAVEL will release a number of amazing items for all four shows in Japan in 2017, and as an introduction to that, the final day of the Dome will be released with the highest quality audience sound source of the modern era and a sound check party. First of all, the audience sound source is different from a simple venue recording, and it can be said to be the pinnacle of “front row recording”, and Pro Taper used the best equipment to record it in the genuine front row of the central block of the Dome Arena A. It was recorded with the high-end omnidirectional microphone that became the label’s signature, as well as the main PA speakers hanging on the left and right, the small speakers for the audience in the front row of the arena, the monitoring speakers for the musicians placed in large numbers on the stage, and the live sounds including guitar amps, with a wide variety of sounds recorded in amazingly three-dimensional sound. Therefore, the wide range of tones, the direct sound image with no reverberation or sound wraparound, and the expansive stereo feeling that realistically reproduces the space of the front row of the arena right before your eyes, this audience sound item is truly one and only. And on the final day on the 30th, which was the last day in a flash, the set included “Junior’s Farm” and “Jet”, which was a delight, and then “Get Back” was finally performed for the encore, which was only for this day. And the beauty of the glow sticks filling the entire venue during “Hey Jude,” which was a hot topic as the entire Tokyo Dome was dyed in a beautiful light blue color, was a highlight of this Japan tour, and those who attended the concert on the day will surely be able to relive those memories just by listening to the sound. The amazing bonus track also includes a complete recording of the sound check party on the same day in high quality audience recording. The VIP-only sound check before the show is also recorded in the highest quality, and you should check out the performance of “Honey Hush,” “One After 909,” and “On My Wat To Work,” which were only performed on this day. Anyway, if you experience this amazing content and quality, your expectations for the luxury box set to be released later will only grow, and this limited collector’s edition is a must-have for fans who can’t wait for the upcoming release and fans who want to enjoy the purest audience sound.
