Description
The third day performance at Tokyo Dome on April 30, 2017 was recorded in full from a high-quality digital audience master, and the precious sound check from the day was also recorded with a line source from the ear monitor source, and this title is now available in 4CD format. First of all, the high sound quality unique to this label, which has been proven in the past two visits to Japan, is largely due to the recording position, and this time we secured a seat on the front aisle of the PA in the front block of the arena. And the sound source source with that real sound was recorded directly without any sound correction, and except for the part where the pyro explodes in “Live and Let Die”, the volume and sound pressure are corrected to the minimum, and there is no equalization at all, so the pattern of the day is reproduced vividly and realistically. And the final day on the 30th, which was the last day in a flash, was a nice one to see that “Junior’s Farm” and “Jet” were included in the set, and in the encore, “Get Back” was finally performed only for this day. And above all, the beautiful light blue Tokyo Dome was dyed in the Tokyo Dome, and the beauty of the glow sticks filling the entire venue during “Hey Jude” was a highlight of the Japan tour. If you attended on the day, you will definitely be able to relive the excitement just by listening to the sound. Furthermore, the sound check on the day was recorded in full using a line source from an ear monitor source leaked by a related party. The VIP-only sound check before the Japan performance was also recorded in the highest quality, and you should check out the performance of “Honey Don’t”, “Sing the Changes” and “It’s So Easy” only on this day. As a bonus, disc:4 includes a complete recording of the sound check session from a good audience master recorded separately. The cheers that erupted during “One After 909”, which Paul played in response to a request on the spot, are more real than the IME source, and the excitement can only be conveyed from the audience source. In the second half, seven songs from the live performance were added, including line tracks from the ear monitor. Because they were played through the keyboardist’s monitor, Paul’s vocals were not fully mixed, but it’s worth checking out how the multi-player’s performance with various instruments can be clearly heard.
