Paul McCartney’s latest series is here! A best collection of rare numbers and unreleased songs from sound checks and rehearsals from past tours. A collection of “treasure” sound sources with an attractive performance that is different from the usual! It is well known that the sound check is held for a limited time as a show prior to the concert, but the performance, which can be said to be a warm-up before the concert, sometimes features whimsical jams, rare numbers other than the standard songs on the set list, and unreleased songs. There are so many unexpected things that keep me interested. Paul himself has said in an interview that he is planning to release a compilation of unreleased sound check “treasure” sound sources as an album, but this has not been realized yet. Until now, these sound sources have only been officially released, except for limited TV broadcasts, radio series “OOBU JOOBU” etc., and some soundboard sound sources and IEM intercepted sound sources have been leaked for each tour. The first installment, “Fabulous,” includes everything from rehearsals for the 1989 world tour to sound checks at various locations from the 1993 tour to sound checks at the Budokan performance in 2017, including Beatles numbers as well as original new songs from the time. A variety of sound sources are carefully selected, ranging from rock’n’roll standards to covers.
