Description

Various earphone recordings from last year’s UK tour that made Paul enthusiasts all over the world amazed. They provided us with a listening experience full of surprises, allowing us to listen not only to the Japanese performance, but also to the latest performances that followed, with exceptional sound quality. The week of their release, footage taken from the audience seats of each performance was released. The person who took these shots was a Japanese photographer who had traveled to England to witness the grand finale in his home country, in addition to the master of earphones, and the master he had given him was on DVD. If that was the case, someone with a sharp intuition might have guessed it, but by combining this video and the earphone sound source, we will release an item that has been elevated to the finest audience live video. In this way, the upper version of each of the three performances will be released at once. Liverpool will be at the forefront. Each performance was performed with a single camera, but the footage of this performance was viewed diagonally from the stand seat on the left side of the stage. All of the Japanese performance videos that were released earlier had wonderful orthodox powerful angles from the arena seats, but that’s why the angle from the stand seats in Liverpool is fresh. If you watch the whole live show, there are many angles of Hiki, and although it could be called a “masterpiece”, it is true that it does not match the powerful angles of the Japanese performance, especially Ryogoku. However, by synchronizing the stereo earphone sound source of “LIVERPOOL 2018” with such a video, the persuasive power as a live video suddenly doubled. The audio captured in the original video was from the camera’s microphone, and although the outline of the performance was captured, the sound quality itself lacked depth and had an undeniable “B-grade” feel. The upper feeling combined with the ultra clear recording of earphones is intense. In this way, the video suddenly became more worth watching, but on the other hand, the video has a very high point of letting you see in your field of view scenes that could not be conveyed only with the earphone sound source. As I mentioned earlier, the footage has quite a few strange angles, but it still manages to capture important scenes here and there, and its sense of close-up is exquisite. First of all, “Come On to Me” is impressive in the first half. When returning from a performance break, Paul always plays while looking at the bass. I see, so you decide on the phrase while checking the timing each time. When it comes to the acoustic song corner, the close-ups are very stable and wonderful scenes can be seen here and there, and it is also attractive that they are captured well. In front of the opening song, “I’ve Just Seen a Face,” the MC was originally supposed to start playing without having to drag on too long, but the title of the Beatles’ song was changed to “I’ve come all the way from Kansas City, hey hey hey!” It’s easy to see how the story escalated when he touched the board held up by a smart spectator, and from there it escalated to the example of “Say it in Japanese!”. During the next performance of “In Spite of All the Danger,” Paul informed me that Colin Hunton, the drummer for the Quarrymen, the band that recorded the song (predecessor to the Beatles), was coming to see the show. It’s also valuable. What is noteworthy about this acoustic song part is the great performance of drummer Abe. In the Beatle classic “From Me To You”, which was the highlight of the 2018 stage, he harmonized with Paul while playing the standing drum. Furthermore, “Dance Tonight”, which was revived in the repertoire after the Japan performance, not only has a surprisingly innovative formation in which it is performed with the standing drum setting, but also because Abe is no longer sitting on the drum kit, his brilliant The dance has also been revived for the first time in a while and has been updated. It gets the audience excited. Harry Wyatt, who played the main character in the music video for “Fuh You”, came to see the Liverpool performance, and when Paul told him about it, he appeared on the screen (clearly). Although it doesn’t go all the way, it has been caught in glimpses. What’s more, during the encore song “I Saw Her Standing There,” the two winners of the campaign to sing with Paul are captured on stage, but compared to the singing that was heard in the recording (bitter smile), Paul I was surprised to see him sing without hesitation on stage. An excellent audience live video packed with highlights like this. Adding visuals to the clear earphone sound source will double the fun! ★Synchronized recording of original audience shot video and much-talked-about super high-quality stereo earphone sound source. The effect is tremendous! ★In order to achieve the highest image quality, this is a single-sided, dual-layer DVD release.
