Paul McCartney/Latin America 2024 Collection Jewel Version

This is a literal labor of love that a Brazilian enthusiast who followed the “GOT BACK” South American tour from October to November put together all the videos he shot himself. Many videos taken from the audience seats when he participated are used, but the main features are two days in Sao Paulo and two days in Buenos Aires, and other days were added and edited. The angles are very large and easy to see overall, but because of that, Paul’s figure is blown out by the lighting, and there are many parts where it is difficult to see his expression even though the angle is close. Indeed, there are many shooting conditions that are difficult to show through, so it is a great decision to put together the best edit like this. However, it is a high point that only close-up angles are put together, and on the other hand, the only videos with distant angles are “Junior’s Farm” and “New” from the Lima performance on October 27th. Also, the fact that Paul was blown out by the lighting worked to his advantage in “Dance Tonight”. It’s amusing to see the drummer Ave performing his familiar dance behind him from start to finish. Another great scene is Paul shouting back at the audience’s cheers before starting “I’ve Just Seen A Face” at the Santiago performance on October 11th. The selection of songs is wonderful because it was edited from multiple performances, and although the number of performances has decreased, the performance scene of “She’s A Woman” on the first day of the tour in Montevideo, which is a tearjerker for enthusiasts, is featured again this year. Another surprise is the revival of the Beatle classic “Day Tripper” on the second day of Sao Paulo, which has become a sound check repertoire in recent years, and the charm of the set list of this tour is beautifully summarized. And after “Lady Madonna”, the frequency of Paul’s figure on stage flying into the lights has decreased, making the video easier to see at once.
