“LIVERPOOL 2018: ORIGINAL VIDEO MASTER” has announced the release of not only the sound source but also the audience live video version from the UK tour at the end of last year. If that happens, the video version will appear in the remaining two performances. Although the video was shot from the audience seats this time, the quality of the angle is undoubtedly the best in the 2018 British trilogy. After all, the footage shot from the front of the arena was worth watching from the opening. In terms of angle, you can feel the power reminiscent of “RYOGOKU KOKUGIKAN 2018 DEFINITIVE VIDEO MASTER”, which became a rare masterpiece in the video of last year’s performance in Japan. Since we were shooting from such a position, the area around the camera was unstable for a while after the show started. It is from “Who Cares” from the new album that all of that settles down and it becomes easier to watch at once. From here, we will finally document the whole story of the Glasgow show from a stunning angle that rivals Ryogoku. At the same time, because we were able to film from the arena, it also unexpectedly became a document that realistically conveys the sense of being at an overseas performance, which is completely different from the Japanese performance. The reason why it became easier to watch from “Who Cares” is because of the “indifferent reaction to new songs”, a phenomenon unique to overseas performances. During a recent live performance, Paul himself said, “When we play a Beatles song, the cellphone lights from the audience seats shine and it’s beautiful, like a galaxy, but when we play a new song, it suddenly gets dark, and it’s like a black hole.” A familiar phenomenon actually happened on this day, and because of it, I was able to open up in front of the camera. It’s an ironic phenomenon, but it’s true that it has suddenly become easier to watch as an audience video. It becomes even easier to see from “My Valentine”, but thanks to that, the interaction in the acoustic song corner is spectacularly clear. On this day, before the corner opened, Paul asked the audience where they came from to watch the show, and a familiar scene appeared in which he also mentioned the message on the signboard that could be seen from the audience seats. However, this time, there was an audience member holding a signboard with the word “Ichiban” written on it just a little in front of the photographer, so Paul recited the episode “Japanese is the best” while looking directly at the camera. He introduced me to me. This is an angle that can only be described as stunning, and you can feel the realism as if you were witnessing the Glasgow stage, and Paul was directing the sound towards you. Also, in “Dance Tonight”, which was one of the surprises after the Japan performance, you can enjoy Abe’s revived dance perfectly because it was a standing drum set this time from a different angle from Liverpool. In other words, it’s because Abe is standing that he can dance more easily than before, and it’s so interesting to watch him show off that while also hitting the rhythm with the bass drum. Of course, the in-ear sound source from the highly popular “GLASGOW 2018” was precisely synchronized this time as well, but the original audio for this video (the audio from the camera’s microphone) was also a clear and spacious audience recording. However, it cannot match the exceptional quality of earphone recordings. Yet, just like the Liverpool DVD, it is wonderful that the sense of reality is conveyed more than just listening to the sound source. In particular, before the performance of “Blackbird”, Paul explains how the song was written, but he seems to be in a bad mood (albeit momentarily) when he says “shut up!”, perhaps because he was irritated by the unexpectedly quiet venue. It is only through video that such facial expressions are captured. Isn’t this amazing? Furthermore, Glasgow’s response to “Queenie Eye” was so slow that it couldn’t be compared to the Japan performance, which was so exciting. Moreover, even though they released the self-deprecating MC after the song, saying, “It’s like a black hole,” Paul’s Even her relaxed figure (well, it can’t be helped) is clearly captured. Thanks to that, the angle has become easier to see again, but it is clear from such scenes that Paul would have liked Japan, which has always had a good response to new songs. And the angle when he starts singing quietly with the George tribute “Something” that starts with the ukulele is also exquisite. The same goes for the images of Ryogoku, but the angle from the arena is really impressive and I never get tired of watching it. Furthermore, when it comes to “Fuh You” and “Hey Jude,” the angles are intentionally sharp, and the MV and the audience’s enthusiasm projected on the screen at the back of the stage are captured together, making it seem like you are watching the show from the front of the Glasgow arena. as if watching. What’s more, it’s interesting that even after the latter is over, the staff members are shown running around trying to quiet down the persistent synth sounds. The exquisite combination of the realistic video angle and earphone sound source reminiscent of Ryogoku is amazing! ★Synchronized recording of original audience shot video and much-talked-about super high-quality stereo earphone sound source. The effect is tremendous! ★In order to achieve the highest image quality, this is a single-sided, dual-layer DVD release Original In-Ear Monitor Recording Live at The SSE Hydro, Glasgow, Scotland 14th December 2018 STEREO IEM DVD(175:21) 1.
