Pat Metheny Group’s finest item, digitally remastered recording of the first stereo soundboard master from their monumental live album “Travels”, has arrived. This is a complete recording of the stage performed on July 26, 1982 at Mesa Centennial Hall in Arizona on two discs, and like “Offramp” and “Travels”, it features Pat Metheny & Lyle Mays, Steve Rodby, Dan Gottlieb, and Nana Vasconcelos. You can enjoy an extremely exciting live performance performed by a band consisting of 3 members, as if they were speeding down an Arizona highway!!!!!! Starting with “Phase Dance”, the performance was amazing until The young PMG performed a fast tempo encore of “(Cross The) Heartland” and “American Garage”, which lasted for 2 hours, and the sound quality was as good as the official level. As it is, I declare that it is a must-have item as it is a definitive item that conveys the whole story of this 1982 tour.
