Pat Metheny Trio/Live At Milan,Italy 2004

A two-and-a-half-hour recording of the new trio’s live performance in Milan on June 28, 2004, featuring Christian McBride on bass and Antonio Sanchez on drums, with audience shots. It is captured with a single camera from the top of the stage, and there are some parts where the hand is disturbed at times, but the sound quality is good and it can be said to be a reasonably good title. As confirmed during the Japan tour held at the end of the year before this performance, Pat’s goal with this new trio was similar to the many side projects he had been working on in parallel with PMG. Rather than satisfying the so-called “crazy thirst for jazz sound,” it will be about approaching from a different angle the one and only PMG sound that has been pursued without wavering since its formation in 1977. In that sense, this is a book that fans who have been following PMG for many years should definitely take a look at. The recording time is 147 minutes in professional format with menu chapters.
