Description
From the US tour after the release of “Imaginary Day” in 1997, the Boston performance on November 21st was recorded in full for 2 hours and 13 minutes, with the latest digital remastering applied to the high-quality audience master at the time. First of all, the wide dynamic range and delicate tone are beautifully reproduced, and in addition to the mastering process, the songs are smoothly cut and edited, so it is of a quality that can be fully enjoyed as a live album. And the performance is also impeccable, starting with the classic song “Into the Dream”, which often opens live shows after this, and from there, the set is mainly songs from the same album, so you can enjoy the performance that reflects the color of this period. Also, as with the performance in Japan the following year, the beauty of the two ballads “Message To A Friend” from “High in the Missouri Sky” and “September Fifteenth” by Pat & Lyle duo at the end will bring you to tears. Although some recordings from the tour the following year have been distributed, there are surprisingly few live recordings from the early part of the 1997 tour, and this is the best quality recording of a great performance that brings back the excitement of the Japanese performances at that time.
