The concert held in Escondido, California on November 19th, from the US tour accompanying the release of “SPEAKING OF NOW” in 2002, was recorded almost in its entirety over the course of 2 hours and 48 minutes, with the latest digital remastering applied to a high-quality audience master. First of all, the wide dynamic range and delicate tone are beautifully reproduced, and in addition to the mastering process, the intervals between songs and Metheny’s MC are smoothly cut and edited, making it a quality that can be fully enjoyed as a live album. Also, this year, the band performed in Japan with what was said to be the strongest lineup at the time, and while the official video “SPEAKING OF NOW LIVE” filmed at that time is also available, fans who can only hear “Bright Size Life” and “Minuano (Six-Eight)” from “STILL LIFE (TALKING)” should check it out.
