Description
The performance was held in conjunction with the release of “Offramp,” the third album by the Pat Metheny Group, in which bassist Mark Egan was replaced by Steve Rodby and the Brazilian-born genius percussionist Nana Vasconcelos joined. PMG’s first live album “Travels”, compiled from live performances from July to October from an 80-concert US tour, is known as a Grammy Award-winning masterpiece, but due to the recording time, there are some differences. I can’t help but feel like I’m having indigestion now, even though I only had a few things in there. Here you can listen to the whole story of the tour, which was the highlight of the 80-performance 1982 tour at the New York Palladium on November 24th, which was recently unearthed. The label’s own careful remastering has been applied to the highest quality stereo sound (board) master in which the balance of each instrument is excellent and each instrument is clearly captured, and the legendary recording is completely recorded for 2 and a half hours until the encore. The definitive 2-disc set of the tour has arrived!
