Description

A treasured sound source recorded with a good monaural soundboard recording of a live performance in Chicago from the 1986 US tour is now available for the first time! The tour started in May in support of the “album” released in March 1986, followed by a European tour and a US tour from June to July. This work is the first appearance of a treasured sound source recorded with a good monaural soundboard recording of the live performance held at Chicago’s Riviera Theater on June 20th in the middle of the US tour! It uses a digital sound source from Low Gene Master, and although it is monaural, each part, including the vocals, is recorded with good sound quality that is well-balanced, clear, and stable. In addition, pitch and localization deviations caused by the master have been carefully corrected. Unlike the “album”, which was produced only with guest musicians, the members included John McGuff on guitar, Lou Edmonds on keyboards and guitar, Alan Diaz on bass, and Bruce Smith on drums, and recorded “Happy?” released the following year. Lou and Bruce are the main members at the time, and have been members since the revival in 2009, and P. I. A live performance from a period that could be considered as the foundation for L Sound. The setlist features all the songs from the album, including Pistols numbers, and also plays the 1984 single “WORLD DESTRUCTION” in collaboration with Afrika Bambaataa! Full uncut recording from the opening to the last encore!
