A rare sound source recorded from the 1988 “Happy? Tour” in Estonia as a high-quality stereo sound board recording by a local FM station is now available in a brushed-up version! A high-quality stereo soundboard recording of the live performance at the “Rock Summer Festival” held in Estonia on August 26, 1988, from the tour held in conjunction with the release of the 6th album “Happy?” The rare sound source recorded is now available in a brushed-up version! Some footage from that day’s live show was broadcast on a Finnish TV station, but this work uses an FM broadcast sound source and has a rough mix that is more grainy than the TV broadcast, making it particularly powerful. Because the low frequency range and John’s vocals are recorded in a large volume, you can enjoy a sound that is far more powerful than the quiet TV video! The first half of the opening number “Public Image” and the second half of “Rules And Regulations”, where only a few seconds are missing, have been filled in from another sound source. Since the band was still part of the Soviet Union at the time, the band was officially blacklisted by the authorities, but it is said that this was made possible by the organizers who wanted to include as many foreign bands as possible. P.D. appeared in front of an audience of approximately 130,000 people as the headliner on the first day of the three-day festival. I. L responded to the audience’s enthusiasm with a tremendous performance, and John looked back on this day and was overwhelmed by the audience’s reaction, noting that it was a great achievement for the band.
