Description

At the end of the Randy Rhoads era, the strongest lineup was assembled in 1982. The soundboard album that imprints the precious live performance in your brain has been upgraded. This work is engraved with the “January 15, 1982 Bloomington performance”. It is a stereo soundboard recording. Although it is called the “Randy era” in a word, the members differ depending on the time, and each has a must-have soundboard album. It is a good opportunity to organize the soundboard situation of the Randy era along with the member changes. 1980, October 2: Southampton performance (5 official songs) 1981 {March: Daisley/Kerslake replaced by Sarzo/Aldridge} ・April 28: AFTER HOURS (4 TV broadcasts) ・May 2: New York performance (1 official song) ・May 11: “DEFINITIVE TRIBUTE (Cleveland)” ・July 28: “DEFINITIVE TRIBUTE (Montreal)” {December: Lindsay Bridgewater replaced by Don Airey} 1982, January 15: Bloomington performance ←★This work★ ・February 9: “KALAMAZOO 1982” {March 19: Randy Rhoads dies} These are the soundboards from the Randy era that have been identified so far. In fact, there are still many mysteries surrounding the Randy era, and for example, the recording dates of only two of the 11 songs on the official “OZZY LIVE” are known. Therefore, although the above is not complete, the important sound sources are as follows, which are enjoyable to listen to. What I want to pay attention to here is the member change in March/December 1981, especially in December when Don Airey was welcomed. The 1982 tour that followed saw two great classical rock masters, Randy & Don, share the stage, and the rhythm section was also a power team of Rudy Sarzo & Tommy Aldridge. A super group was born that made its name known to the scene. And when it comes to soundboards that allow you to enjoy live performances, there is the masterpiece “KALAMAZOO 1982” and this work. I’m sure there are some collectors who have already pinned it, but this soundboard has been famous for a long time. It is a classic that has been loved as the masterpiece “HOWLING BLIZZARD (part)” in our shop, but this work is an upgrade master. It is a newly excavated master provided by an overseas researcher, and the sound is superb. Although it is still within the scope of vintage soundboards, the brightness of the “HOWLING BLIZZARD” version is wonderful, as if the cloudiness of the “HOWLING BLIZZARD” version had suddenly cleared, and the direct feeling has been greatly improved. It is a fresh sound that allows you to enjoy the details clearly. At one time, there was a time when the master with good sound quality was talked about among core collectors as being short (I Don’t Know was missing), but this master is longer than “HOWLING BLIZZARD” in terms of length. Although the unexcavated “No Bone Movies”, which is still a lingering flame, has not been recorded this time either, it is longer than any of the previous masters. The longest and highest peak update master alone is a great emotion, but this work also includes an additional news program when Randy died. This is also a radio sound source that has been known to core collectors, but it is permanently preserved as the best master. OZZY OSBOURNE BAND in 1982, when the two great beautiful melody players, Randy Rhoads and Don Airey, stood side by side. This is a soundboard album that allows you to directly connect with the miraculous live performance of two geniuses… no, five star players overlapping sounds. An unavoidable precious soundboard has undergone an unexpected upgrade. Stereo soundboard recording of the “Bloomington performance on January 15, 1982”. The longest and highest peak of the newly excavated master, provided by an overseas researcher. The brightness is wonderful, as if the cloudiness of the conventional master has been cleared, and the direct feeling has been greatly improved. Fresh sound that allows you to enjoy the details clearly. This is a new masterpiece that allows you to enjoy the precious live performance of the two great beautiful melody players, Randy Rhoads and Don Airey, side by side with the best master.
