Description
The legendary “Original BLIZZARD” created the historic masterpieces “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” and “DIARY OF A MADMAN”. This precious live album is a masterpiece that will update the best of the best. [The original era with Daisley & Kerslake] This work is engraved with the “October 22, 1980 Chelmsford performance”. It is a superb audience recording. Speaking of live performances in the Randy era, the rhythm section is Rudy Sard/Tommy Aldridge, but the “Original BLIZZARD” was before that. It is the four people who were together, including “Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake”, who were also the key members of the two studio works. The only live performances with the original four were in the very early days, and the records are even more special even in the special Randy era. It is said to be a miraculous day when the color of the eyes of enthusiasts changes with each one. Of course, our shop has collected as many of the best masters as possible, and last year the masterpiece “DEFINITIVE LONDON 1980” became a big topic. So, what other records are there? It’s a good opportunity, so let’s organize the collection by the schedule at that time. 1980 {April 19th “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” completed} September 3rd + 5th: Warm-up gig (2 performances) September 12th-18th (5 performances) {September 20th “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” released} September 20th “DEFINITIVE LONDON 1980” September 21st: London performance September 23rd “NIGHTS OF BLIZZARD (Manchester) September 24-October 1 (5 shows) October 2: Southampton show ← ※ Official SBD October 3-October 9 (5 shows) October 10: Taunton show October 11-20 (6 shows) October 22: Chelmsford show ← ★ This work ★ October 23 + 24 (2 shows) October 26 “NIGHTS OF BLIZZARD (London)” October 28-November 1 (4 shows) 1981 {February-March “DIARY OF A MADMAN” production} {March: Bob Daisley / Lee Kerslake leave} [Legendary recording that reclaimed the title of masterpiece] This is the activity outline of “original BLIZZARD”. The basis of this period is the official sound board. “Goodbye To Romance” and “No Bone Movies” from the Southampton performance are featured on “TRIBUTE”, while “Mr. Crowley”, “You Said It All” and “Suicide Solution” are featured on the live EP “MR. CROWLEY”. However, the soundboard is only these few songs, whether official or unofficial. The rest are audience recordings, and four performances (including this one) are known. This work is the best of such audience recordings. It is not the best of this day, but the best full live album of “Original BLIZZARD”. In the first place, this show has been famous for having a famous recording that represents “Original BLIZZARD”. This work is the best master of it. First of all, it is long. It was originally a famous recording for its long length, but this work is even longer before and after the show. In fact, there are versions of the running rhyme that are longer than this one, but that is because the pitch is slow and the silence of the pause is left as it is. If you convert the actual recording part to normal pitch, this work is the longest. And even more importantly, the sound that runs through the whole series. The on-the-spot, solid core approaches without any sense of distance, and the details are clear. The direct feeling was already available in previous releases, but this work is even more natural. When another performance, “DEFINITIVE LONDON 1980,” was discovered, it was called the “masterpiece” with a clear, waking atmosphere, but this work reclaims the throne with a sense of zero distance and naturalness without distortion. Such a direct sound depicts “BLIZZARD OF OZZ, a live performance version and on-site trial version.” The set is a different song order from “DEFINITIVE LONDON 1980,” but let’s reorganize it here as it is the definitive edition. Blizzard of Oz (8 songs) I Don’t Know (★) / Crazy Train (★) / Goodbye To Romance / No Bone Movies / Mr. Crowley / Suicide Solution / Revelation (Mother Earth) (★) / Steal Away (The Night) (★) Others (4 songs) Single: You Looking At Me Looking At You (★) Sabbath: Iron Man (★) / Children Of The Grave (★) / Paranoid (★) *Note: The “★” mark indicates songs for which the official soundboard with the original lineup has not been released. …And so it is. There are still no new songs from “DIARY OF A MADMAN,” and all songs from “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” except “Dee” are performed. The rare song “You Looking At Me Looking At You” is inserted there. A legendary recording that reclaimed the throne of “King of the Original BLIZZARD” with an upgrade by the best master. In a sense, it surpasses even “TRIBUTE” and is a masterpiece of a live album approaching “BLIZZARD OF OZZ” itself. It is the most important absolute work in the Randy era… no, in Ozzy Osbourne’s entire career. The best audience recording of “October 22, 1980 Chelmsford performance”. It is the best live album of the era when the original rhythm section “Bob Daisley & Lee Kerslake” were complete. The longest and highest sound quality of the best master of the famous recording known so far. On, the thick core approaches Guigui without any sense of distance, and the details are also clear. It is overwhelmingly more direct than other recordings and more natural than the previous release of the same recording. It is the most important absolute work of the Randy era that is truly worthy of being called a masterpiece. High sound quality of the best tour!
