Featuring members of the quartet “Don Cherry, Charlie Aiden, and Billy Higgins” who created Ornette Coleman’s 1959 release “A Shape of Jazz to Come,” which will remain in jazz history. Reunion live in 1987. The live performance at the Volkshaus in Zurich, Switzerland on October 30th, the day after the Hamburg performance released on DOMINO Label, is recorded with the finest stereo soundboard sound source.
