Featuring members of the quartet “Don Cherry, Charlie Aiden, and Billy Higgins” who created Ornette Coleman’s 1959 release “A Shape of Jazz to Come,” which will remain in jazz history. Reunion live in 1987. The live performance at the Volkshaus in Zurich, Switzerland on October 30th, the day after the Hamburg performance released on DOMINO Label, is recorded with the finest stereo soundboard sound source. There aren’t many recordings in which all four of them have come together, and you can enjoy thrilling and extremely wonderful performances that arouse expectations unique to these members, including a re-performance of the famous song “Lonely Woman.” 01.
