Description

Just before the release of their fourth album, “STANDING ON THE SHOULDER OF GIANTS,” the band appeared on “LATER… WITH JOOLS HOLLAND” at the BBC Television Centre on February 11, 2000. The live performance on this day was broadcast on BBC Two on April 1, 2000, and several titles had been released in the past, but there were problems with the introduction, the lack of “Live Forever” broadcast on “TOP OF THE POPS 2” on a different day, and skipping, and more than 20 years have passed without a definitive version. This title is based on a beautiful high-definition source broadcast on BBC Two HD on April 16, 2022. The sound quality is also superior to past titles, and this title allows you to enjoy the brave figure of the new Oasis with both Gem Archer and Andy Bell in high-quality material. Now, as for the important content, it is a live performance that is incomparable to the first day of the world tour immediately after this live performance, the Yokohama performance. Although his voice sounds a little strained in “Some Might Say,” which was later considered a barometer of Liam’s performance, you can see Liam’s brave figure clinging to the microphone with sweat running down his forehead in high quality. “Where Did It All Go Wrong?” and “Gas Panic!” were performed for the first time on this day. Furthermore, “Where Did It All Go Wrong?” was an acoustic version by Noel that was only performed on this day, and was one of the highlights of the day. Of course, it’s not just new songs. The band’s signature song “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star,” which was set for the first time in over four years since the Manchester performance on November 26, 1995, and “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” in which the intro phrase strummed by Noel’s guitar is now faithfully performed on the piano by Mike Rowe, are also included in the past hit songs, which have begun to shine differently from before with the addition of new members. Please enjoy this ultra-high quality video. As a bonus track, it includes “CHRIS MOYLES SHOW” from June of the same year, in which Oasis performed “Half The World Away” for the first time, and “JOHN LENNON NIGHT” from September of the same year. Both are audio and video with a lot to listen to and watch. A super beautiful version of the 2022 rebroadcast! Also includes the unaired “Live Forever” Bonus tracks “CHRIS MOYLES SHOW” and “JOHN LENNON NIGHT” AUDIO DISC LATER WITH JOOLS HOLLAND, LONDON, ENGLAND February 11, 2000 01. introduction 02.
