This release features the complete recording of the 2002 Finsbury Park concert, acclaimed to surpass even the Knebworth concert. Regarding the third day, July 7th, this day’s broadcast on radio has spawned numerous previously released recordings. All previous releases featured edits of the DJ sets, but even then, some parts were left unedited, such as overlapping the beginnings of songs. This release differentiates itself from previous releases by featuring the entire uncut performance, including the DJ set, making its first appearance on CD. Of course, it’s also included soundboard recordings. Unlike the broadcast releases, which only featured repeated meaningless audience noise between “Force of Nature” and “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” this release also includes the missing intro of “Don’t Look Back In Anger.” Also included is an interview with Noel, which aired at the same time. Furthermore, highlights from the opening acts, B.R.M.C. and The Charlatans, are also included on the soundboard. Finsbury’s strongest performance, with the best sound quality, featuring a historic Finsbury performance alongside Main Road and Earl’s Court, surpassing even Knebworth.
