Description

Starting with the demo tape that Noel produced in the late 1980s, when Oasis and even their predecessor band Rain didn’t exist, this is a collection of existing sound sources recorded up to the radio session for the BBC at the end of December 1993. A perfectly comprehensive title! ! The production was done by renowned traders in the UK and South America, and by going back as much as possible to the original tapes and making new digital transfers, we also made stricter pitch adjustments to make sure that we made the best possible sound. This is the definitive edition with upgrades. At the beginning of DISC 1, there is about 30 seconds of a song called “No Cause For Alarm!” (details on the song title will be explained later) from Noel’s demo tape “Noel’s Tunes”, which is confirmed to exist in 1988. Contains fragments. “Womb to Tomb”, “Baj”, “I Am The Man”, “England”, “I Didn’t Think So!”, “What’s It Got to Do With You?”, “No Cause for Alarm”, including Noel’s first work “Baj” This demo tape contains 8 songs, “Have Fun!!”, but unfortunately at the moment you can only listen to fragments of this one song. Tracks 2 to 6 on DISC 1 include all songs from Noel’s 1989 demo tape “Noel’s Songs.” I often see descriptions of it being a 1988 demo, but it’s definitely a 1989 demo. The pitch, which was slightly low when it first came out, has also been corrected. By the way, the first song “No Cause For Alarm!” from the 1988 tape was credited as such in this work because it was said that way when it was released, but now it is “No Cause For Alarm!” Handwritten lyrics with song titles written on loose leaf sheets by Noel in 1988 have been confirmed for the two songs “I Didn’t Think So!”, which were probably written over the course of a year. ” is now “What’s Been Happenin”’, “No Cause For Alarm!” has been changed to “Hey You”, and “HAVE FUN!!” has been changed to “Gotta Have Fun”. The first song, “No Cause For Alarm!”, matches the lyrics of “HAVE FUN!!”, so it is said that someone probably mixed them up while the sound source was being distributed. In other words, “No Cause For Alarm!” can be said to be a fragment of a song that should be credited with “HAVE FUN!!”. Also, if you look at Noel’s handwritten lyrics and sound sources, you will notice that not only have the song titles changed, but there are also new parts that have been written and added. Listening to the combination of acoustic guitar and electric guitar with chorus, and the way the words are placed, the influence of The Smiths is noticeable overall, but Oasis fans are surprised that they are writing songs with solid melodies at this point. This is a must-listen sound source. The rest of DISC 1 are demos and live performances produced after Noel joined Oasis. At this time, various fans have already written all the songs, but there are songs that are clearly influenced by The Stone Roses, including Liam’s singing style. As for these sound sources, they are not simply the same as those heard on the masterpiece “The Untold Story” released in 1996, but a demo of a different version of “Take Me” that first appeared on “MTV Unplugged & More”. , is based on a low-generation source with no skipping that was newly digitally transferred in 2004. Other than the fact that they were both recorded in 1992, not much is known about them, but following the credits on the tapes that were digitally transferred in 2004, the song known as “Life In Vain” has been renamed “Acoustic Song.” “In addition to the credits, the feedback section at the end of the live performance is also tracked as “Poetic Feedback.” There are various theories about the date and location of the live performance, but the most popular theory is that it will be held at The Boardwalk. DISC 2 is an audience recording of one song “Cloudburst” from a live performance at The Boardwalk. This song is often attributed to the live performance on January 15, 1992, as it was circulated as the band’s first headline gig, but this song is based on the live performance on that day, which is mentioned in the writings of the eldest Gallagher family. Since it does not appear, there are various theories regarding the date of this sound source. The next song, “Rehearsals Medley,” is the soundtrack of a rehearsal video at The Boardwalk that the band released as “1992” with the release of the 2004 “Definitely Maybe DVD.” Although it is a shame that all the performances are fragmentary and voice-over material, the sound proves that “All Around The World” released in 1997 existed before its debut. An astonishing sound source. Since “All Around The World” was recorded in separate format, the 9th track includes a version that reconstructs these into the correct song structure. The third and subsequent songs are rehearsal sound sources at The Boardwalk the following year in 1993. During the performance, Noel gets mad at Liam and an argument begins, but the other three don’t say anything, which seems to show the power relationship within the band, and it’s a really funny sound source (lol). “Whatever” was rehearsed on a different day at the same location. Although the tape in the intro was severely damaged, the 8th song is recorded as is, and the 10th song is a “Fixed Version” in which the damaged tape has been restored. From the 11th song onwards, as Released Versions #1, the demo recording was done around the time of this rehearsal, courtesy of the Liverpool band The Real People, from late March to June 1993, and has been officially released to date. A collection of released materials is included. It covers not only the versions that were made into vinyl and lined up in stores, but also the versions that were recorded on bonus tapes of magazines (only the 16th track “Live Forever” is included, considering the theory that it was not a session with The Real People, “Unknown”) Location”). The first three songs on DISC 3 are recorded from the legendary live performance at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on May 31, 1993, when Creation Records president Alan McGee “discovered” Oasis. The original material is a home movie that happened to be shot by a Japanese (!!) traveler, Ms. A.S. After returning to Japan, she realized the historical value of the footage and sent it to Alan McGee.The soundtrack was recorded in its entirety when the footage was broadcast on the airwaves twice in the UK. Even after their debut, their relationship with Japan, which has frequently appeared in their history, already had a kind of fate at this point. Tracks 4 to 11 are the demo tape “Live Demonstration,” which was created from a demo recording made courtesy of The Real People, which Noel famously handed to Alan McGee immediately after the live performance. Completely recorded. This sound source was released as Half Official “Precreation Blues” in 2006 and can be obtained at mass retailers, but what is included here is a newly digitally transferred version. A remastered version of the thing! ! Furthermore, it is valuable content just to record this demo tape at the correct pitch for the first time. Be sure to check out the latest remaster of the demo tape, which includes the unreleased song “Strange Thing” and boasts a rich content that astounded not only Alan McGee but also Johnny Marr and future manager Marcus Russell. Check it out with your ears! ! Tracks 12 to 20 are complete recordings of “Whatever Demos”, which was released in 2004. This demo tape is also largely made up of material from demo recordings with The Real People, but includes the sole demo of “Whatever,” released in late 1994, as well as “Bring It On Down” and “Bring It On Down.” The earliest versions of “Cloudburst”, “Up In The Sky (Inside Me)” and “Alive” also include completely different takes that can only be heard here. In particular, “Up In The Sky (Inside Me)” is the only demo in band form that reveals the skeleton of the song more than the noisy release version, and is full of primitive charm. Other songs, most notably “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star”, have overdubs and mixes that can only be heard here. The song list is based on the handwritten notes on the original inlay, and while there is a possibility that it was compiled before “Live Demonstration” by analogy, it is currently dated 1994. The prevailing theory is that it was compiled in 1999, and although further details are still unknown, its astonishing content remains undiminished to this day. When it was previously released as a disc, the pitches of each song were left as they were, and the sound was distorted in several songs due to remastering, but this time, it was digitally transferred directly from the cassette. The pitch of the First Generation Copy has been corrected for each song and then remastered, so you won’t feel any unnecessary stress when listening to it. This is the definitive version that allows you to enjoy “Whatever Demos” with the highest sound quality currently possible. Since DISC4 was released in 1997, the details of DISC4 are still unknown except that it is a “studio session recorded on August 11, 1993.” From here on, three songs have been officially released as “live” or “demo”, which makes it even more difficult to understand the details of this sound source, but it is better than the demo recording with The Real People. The performance is full of confidence and presence. Regarding this sound source, the pitch, which was slightly out of order in previous releases, has been corrected and has been thoroughly remastered. Next is the studio for BBC Radio 1’s “Evening Session”, which was recorded on December 22, 1993, first broadcast on January 4 of the following year, and second broadcast on June 5 of the same year.・Live recording. It was recently revealed by a trader that “Up In The Sky” recorded here was recorded on material called demo tape (track 13 of DISC 4 and track 8 of DISC 5). . The best sources have been selected for each of the four songs, and they have been remastered and pitch adjusted. Miscellaneous Compilation #1 to #3 from the 10th song on DISC4 to the 10th song on DISC5 are the sound sources that have been circulating in this form, and the recorded material is “Demo recording with The Real People” “August 11, 1993” The recordings include a studio session recorded on December 22, 1993, an unspecified demo recording, a demo recording in Liverpool in December 1993, and a studio live recording for the Evening Session recorded on December 22, 1993. It is literally a miscellaneous compilation with unclear intentions. Although the takes of the overlapping songs are the same, the left and right channels and mixes are different, and the sixth song on DISC 5, “Married With Children,” has an overdub that can only be heard here. It has been. Also, the previously mentioned “Up In The Sky” from the “studio live recording for Evening Session recorded on December 22, 1993” is recorded for a long time, although the sound quality is inferior to the on-air source. Another feature is that it is Furthermore, “Digsy’s Dinner” from Miscellaneous Compilation #1 appears for the first time in this source. There are two major features in the recording of Miscellaneous Compilation #1 to 3. Firstly, Miscellaneous Compilation #3 includes sources that were previously only released in 3D-REALITY’s “Alternate Definitely”. For this part, we inherited the cassette tape that 3D-REALITY used as a master, and newly transferred it digitally. The dropout in the hi-hat count at the beginning of “Columbia”, which occurred when reversing from side A to side B on the original tape, is compensated for with another master without any omissions. Another feature of Miscellaneous Compilation #3 is that the pitch, which was significantly distorted in previous releases, has been perfectly corrected for each song, which greatly reduces stress when listening to music. It is now easier to listen and compare with other versions. And you’ll understand this when you actually listen to it, but thanks to the new digital transfer and pitch adjustment, Miscellaneous Compilation #3 has significantly improved sound quality compared to the previous 3D-REALITY “Alternate Definitely”. doing. I’m sure you can be sure that the original tape had quite a rich amount of data recorded on it. (Not recorded). From the 11th track on DISC5 onwards, as Released Versions #2, the material officially released to date from the “studio session recorded on August 11, 1993” and “demo recording in Liverpool in December 1993” is included. It is recorded together. This also covers bonus tapes from magazines and versions remastered by 2006, and is truly a perfect recording, living up to the subtitle of this work, “This is everything the band recorded between 1988-1993.” The inner piece, housed in a jewel case, explains the differences between each version of demo recordings and studio live sound sources used for demos since 1993, which have been verified by various traders and researchers. It is a valuable piece of information, and like the jacket, it is made of thick coated glossy high-quality paper. This is a treasure-like title for fans who can’t be satisfied with downloads or cheap CDR copies. Starting with Noel’s demo tapes before the birth of Oasis, and focusing on the 1993 demo recording that sparked his debut, it covers all existing sound sources including live performances, studio live performances, and studio rehearsals. Not only that, but each is recorded with perfect pitch and sound quality upgrades. DISC ONE Taken from “Noel’s Tunes” (1988 Demo Tape) 01.No Cause For Alarm!(aka.
