Description

Oasis’ reunion tour, “LIVE ’25,” continues to create a UK rock legend! With just 30 days until their Japan tour, the most anticipated performance of the North American tour—the historic Rose Bowl, where they performed for two days (attracting 180,000 people just for those two days!)—has been released in a complete, 4-CD mega-recording of the highest quality audience recording! Unlike previous releases on other labels, this is a top-tier matrix sound source that completely eliminates any flaws in the original source material! Whether you’re preparing for their Japan tour or enjoying the best performances of their North American tour, these two Rose Bowl days are a must-have item! We’re bringing these two superb days right to your doorstep. The American leg of Oasis’ latest “LIVE ’25” tour has been completed successfully, sparking an explosive response. The midpoint of the tour produced the phenomenal audience album “DEFINITIVE EAST RUTHERFORD 2025 1ST NIGHT,” and the tour’s final US performance after East Rutherford was at the venerable Rose Bowl in Pasadena on the West Coast. Completed in 1922, this multi-purpose venue, characterized by its historic bowl-shaped design, has hosted countless acts, from Janis Joplin (with Big Brother and the Holding Company) to Journey, Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, The Eagles, U2, Beyoncé, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, and more. It literally symbolizes the pinnacle of postwar pop music. With Oasis finally at their strongest, the event attracted overwhelming attention, selling out 180,000 tickets was a given. Naturally, this made it easier to gather high-quality audience recordings. Local enthusiasts have posted high-quality audience recordings (including multiple sources!) online for each of the two consecutive performances. While these recordings are certainly good enough for a limited-edition CD release, as discussed below, they are not without flaws. As with previous Oasis tour releases, meticulous remastering and matrixing using cutting-edge technology has dramatically elevated the sound quality to a new level. It’s not just “good sound quality,” but a quality that can be enjoyed with confidence by anyone, from beginners to enthusiasts. First, there were three audience recording sources for the first day. Of these, the main source selected was the highest-quality recording, captured with the high-end Scheops MK4 microphone. However, there were issues with the tapering blunder of adjusting the recording level after the live performance began, as well as issues with the rough, thin highs while capturing the midrange well. The outdoor venue also introduced wind noise and sound fluctuations. By matrixing a second audience recording (also of high quality) and utilizing cutting-edge AI technology, these issues were resolved! And, again, we utilized another cutting-edge AI technology, which proved highly effective at the previous East Rutherford performance. By automatically analyzing the mastering and equalization trends of the official live recordings distributed through various subscription services and incorporating these results into meticulous remastering and matrixing, we achieved a completely different sound quality and power-up, completely eliminating the aforementioned issues. The resulting sound is on a whole other level. The second day also relied primarily on high-quality recordings recorded with a Scheops MK4 microphone, but the overall sound image lacked depth, and sound fluctuations were also a result of the positioning required immediately after the performance began. To top it off, the sound image felt a bit distant. By matrixing another audience recording (also a high-quality source using a high-end DPA 4061 microphone) and utilizing the latest AI technology, all of these issues were resolved. The sound, especially the thickness and proximity of the sound image, were dramatically improved. The results of the matrixing and remixing using the latest AI technology are even more evident than on the previous day in terms of quality! Also, this time, “LIVE ’25” marks the first time two performances have been coupled! Of course, we’re not trying to make up for the inferior quality by adding more discs! As mentioned earlier, the superb sound quality of both performances surpasses that of other labels, which is one of the reasons for coupling them. But even more than that, the differences in the performances on both Rose Bowl shows are truly fascinating! First of all, what comes across from the first day is the high energy that can be felt from the band’s performance itself, more than two months after the start of the tour. Liam, singing against this backdrop, is also incredibly high-energy, and “Cigarettes & Alcohol” is undoubtedly the best performance of the day. His yelling of “Celestial, majestical, fuckin’ biblical!” at a break in the performance was a spectacular sight. However, perhaps due to his over-exertion, Liam’s voice began to show signs of fatigue around “D’You Know What I Mean?”, and he sounded strained for the first time in a while on songs like “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.” Having maintained his unprecedented peak performance for two months since the start of “LIVE ’25,” it was ironic that he finally seemed to be showing signs of fatigue. However, when Liam returned after two Noel songs for the encore, he was instantly back in his prime, as expected of “LIVE ’25.” He didn’t smoke a cigarette while Noel was singing like he used to, and the finale once again impressed upon the audience that Liam was in such great form. And the ending of Noel’s “Don’t Look Back In Anger” was absolutely incredible. As was a hot topic on social media, there was a woman in the front row who was crying from sheer emotion the whole night, and Noel finally touched her heart by saying, “What’s your name? I can’t hear you very well, but I’m dedicating this next song to you. This girl’s been crying nonstop tonight.” The second day followed. With the old Liam, the fatigue from the previous day would have lingered, but this was “LIVE ’25.” On the second day, Liam showed no signs of fatigue like he did in the latter half of the previous day, and once again, he sang at his best, which was incredibly reliable. Even though it was the first day, he had finished beautifully, and it was moving to see him recover as if nothing had happened. And because he was in such great spirits, Liam was in even better spirits than the day before, chanting “Los Angeles” over and over again. The highlight was before the final song, “Champagne Supernova,” when Liam expressed his gratitude for the success of the North American tour, which was very moving. Since the final stop on the North American tour was Mexico, this was the band’s final stop on the mainland United States. There’s a reason this was the first two-day coupling release. And both days have been reborn with the highest quality sound! Enjoy the ultimate sound quality, even surpassing that of East Rutherford, at this historic venue!
