Oasis at the BBC Broadcast 2025 Edition Jewel Version

On June 21st, less than a month before the long-awaited reunion concert, the BBC used their own footage of Oasis to broadcast a wonderful program called “Oasis at the BBC”. The main focus was on footage of Oasis’ past appearances on “Top of the Pops”. The show is traditionally lip-synced, so they also lip-synced on their appearances, but in 1994’s “Shakermaker”, they recorded in a very unusual setting, with Liam singing live over a karaoke. On the other hand, the legendary performance that made the most of the lip-syncing was “Roll With It”. In the show, Noel lip-synced to the lead vocals and Liam to the lead guitar (!), which was the opposite of their actual formation. In between the previous Top of the Pops episodes, footage of live performances of the band is also interspersed, such as Morning Glory and Columbia from the 2002 T in the Park festival, and Cigarettes & Alcohol from the 2004 Glastonbury festival. There are also interviews with the Gallagher brothers scattered throughout, including rare footage from 1996, when Liam delayed his trip to the US and caused a scandal. In addition, at key points in the TV appearances and live performances of each song, the latest explanatory subtitles created for this program are displayed at the bottom of the screen, carefully explaining the history of each song, such as “what records the song has set or episodes it has created!” And the most important thing is that all of these videos can be viewed in perfect image quality because they are the latest broadcasts in 2025. All of the past “TOP OF THE POPS” can be easily viewed on YouTube, but high-definition versions of “Some Might Say” from 1995 and “Cum On Feel The Noize” from early 1996 are surprisingly rare. And the high-definition version of the 2002 “T IN THE PARK” festival mentioned above is especially rare, and although it is being broadcast this time, it is a very valuable take! As a result, it is a full 90 minutes of fulfilling program that allows you to quickly see the history of Oasis, centered on their appearances on “TOP OF THE POPS”, in perfect image quality.
