Oasis/1995 Japan Tour Collection Vol.2

This album contains two of the seven shows from the 1995 Japan tour, which have been confirmed to have audio. The 1995 tour was canceled in February of that year and then rescheduled, but the album “Morning Glory” had not yet been released at this point, and only the single “Roll With It” had been released just before the Japan tour. However, the set list featured new songs from the album that Japanese fans would be hearing for the first time. As with the first Japan tour in 1994, an acoustic corner was included in the set to adjust the performance time and protect Liam’s throat, and Noel and Liam performed an acoustic version of “Fade Away” from the WAR CHILD charity album “Help,” which they would be involved in producing after returning to Japan. Also, in “Whatever,” the verse part is sung as a chorus phrase, and this version was only performed during the 1995 Japan tour, where “All The Young Dudes” and “Octopus’s Garden” were connected as a medley after “Whatever” on alternate days, but “Whatever” itself is rare. At the MATSUSHITA IMP HALL performance on the first day in Osaka, Liam changed the phrase “behind your eyes” to “behind my eyes” in the verse of “Acquiesce,” and Noel, as if responding to this, changed the lyrics to the completely opposite meaning, “We don’t need each other, we don’t believe in one another, I know we’ll never uncover what’s sleeping in our soul,” which is a must-listen phrase. Compared to their first and subsequent visits to Japan, the 1995 Japan tour was not blessed with many recordings, and there were not many already released titles. Among them, by selecting the best sources from each performance and compiling them in this way, it has become the culmination of the second visit to Japan.
