The effect is particularly clear in the songs from the latest album “COUNCIL SKIES” that are played one after the other in the first half of the live, and “Whatever”, which has an attractive arrangement played by a full band. What is more noteworthy is the sense of realism that is much more realistic than the original sound. The sense of realism unique to the outdoor venue of the festival, which was completely different from last year’s visit to Japan, is firmly conveyed. And on the day, it started raining during the live performance, and the sound of the rain even made its way into the streaming audio around “Dead In The Water,” where Noel quietly sang, but the finished product was amazing in that it didn’t bother me at all. Here again, the difference from the original audio was clearly visible. And since it was less than a year after their last visit to Japan, the repertoire was changed, and instead of the Bob Dylan cover “Mighty Quinn” from the previous performance, they performed Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart,” and from the Oasis classics, they performed “Whatever” and “Talk Tonight.” In particular, “Whatever” is a choice that is suitable for Japanese festivals, and the current full band arrangement seems to be a perfect fit. The excitement of the finale was captured even when streaming on everyone’s favorite “Don’t Look Back In Anger,” but by mixing in the audience recording, it was upgraded to an even richer excitement. “This is the excitement of that night…” The reproduction is so good that it makes your heart pound. This release further refines the quality of the stereo soundboard recording, which already promises the best sound quality. Not only does the sound quality sound good, but it has been reborn as the best document that recreates that day, which can be said to be a memory of this summer.
