Description
NIGHT RANGER has taken the first step to overcome the new coronavirus pandemic. The latest recorded live album that conveys the scene is now available. This work was recorded at “Shipshuwana performance on October 31, 2020.” It is a super-excellent audience recording that captures the whole story. Anyway, this is the latest recording after a long time. This is not limited to NIGHT RANGER. Due to the new coronavirus pandemic that is currently raging across the world, the music industry has come to a complete standstill. In the past few months, almost all bands/artists’ tours have been canceled, and the occasional new releases are mostly home performances or archived footage from the past. Of course, the pandemic is still showing no signs of ending, but we are gradually figuring out how to deal with the disease. Little by little, bands are starting to appear that are holding concerts. One of them is NIGHT RANGER.・This work is the latest live album that allows you to experience such a restart stage as soon as possible. Before we get into the details, let’s talk about the show’s position. We are also introducing the masterpiece live album “FOXBORO 2020” before the suspension of activities, so let’s check it out from the schedule known so far. 2020, January 24th – March 13th: North America #1 (14 performances) ← *FOXBORO 2020 x April 29th – September 30th (42 canceled performances) ・August 10th: STURGIS BIKE RALLY appearance・October 31st: Shipshuwana performance ←★This work★ 2021, January 30th: Lake Charles performance, April 17th – May 29th: North America (4 performances), July 16th: Walker performance This is the 2020/2021 NIGHT RANGER. They have been touring since the beginning of this year and will be off in early spring as planned. Around that time, the new coronavirus pandemic started to get serious, and at first it was thought that NIGHT RANGER was just lucky that things were going well. However, the pandemic only worsened, and all tours starting in April were cancelled. After that, I couldn’t move for a while, but I was able to hold a special performance once on Halloween. This is the only show we have this year, but plans for rescheduled performances for next year are slowly starting to come in. This work is a live album of such a restart performance only once, but if the show is special, the quality is also special. It is truly a superb sound that can be described as “super”. After all, it’s very close up, extremely thick, detailed, and beautiful. It is revealed that the famous machine “Schoeps mk41s” was used, so it must be an audience recording, but the sound flowing out is like an FM broadcast. Even if you listen carefully with headphones, you can’t find any audience-like sound, and that’s the sound that can be officially released as is. Audience technology in 2020 has evolved to this extent without anyone noticing… I feel awe at that fact, but there’s actually more to it than that. In fact, the person who recorded this work is a very famous master in the collector world (some people may think of the word “Silver Horse”). This work is a masterpiece among masterpieces recorded by a master who would have produced countless masterpieces in 2020, leaning on his arm. With such a beautiful sound, it was a full show that seemed to burst with energy on stage for the first time in a while. The set is the same as “FOXBORO 2020″ (the order of the songs is different), but let’s organize it once again. 80’s numbers (12 songs)・DAWN PATROL: Sing Me Away/Night Ranger/Don’t Tell Me You Love Me・MIDNIGHT MADNESS: Touch of Madness/Rumours in the Air/When You Close Your Eyes/Sister Christian/(You Can Still) Rock In America・7 WISHES: Four in the Morning/Sentimental Street/Goodbye・BIG LIFE: The Secret of My Success covers and more (4 songs)・DAMN YANKEES: Coming of Age/High Enough・Alice Cooper: School’s Out Ozzy Osbourne: Crazy Train…and it goes like this. The ultimate greatest hits collection, which is a condensation of 80’s masterpieces, is interwoven with four delicious cover songs selected from the members’ extracurricular activities. The luxurious set alone is enough to fill you up, but this work is so much more than that. Anyway, I’m so happy and excited to be on stage after a long time! The mood is intense, and the familiar masterpieces are more dynamic than usual. Furthermore, this motivation is reflected not only in their performance, but also in their MC. After “Sing Me Away,” he loudly declared, “You see, this is live music!” and he continued, “March 13th was the day music died,” and “It’s been 9 months since then.” He spoke as if to let all his frustrations out at once. It’s an energetic show where that passion oozes out and overflows from every corner. The album concludes with Orasu’s signature song, “(You Can Still) Rock In America,” and ends with him shouting “You Can Still Rock In America, Baby!!!” over and over again. Yes, this word contains everything about 2020. Why do we like live music? Why can’t we be satisfied with just a studio masterpiece? The coronavirus pandemic continues at this very moment, and it is unclear when it will end. But I could see the light. The passion for music is still burning somewhere in the world, just as it always was, waiting for the day when it will once again take center stage. What is imbued in this work is a night when that passion burst forth ahead of others. A light that lets you reconnect with great music. It is also a live album that teaches you that. Wonderful masterpieces, a deeply joyful mood, and a passion that burns with hope. This is a vacuum-packed product that combines all of that with the finest sound. The latest impressive performance! !
