Crazy Horse’s first live performance in four years since their hiatus in 2014 was held in Fresno, California, from May 1st to 3rd, 2018. The first and second days of the live performance were recorded in full by a high-quality audience master. The most notable thing is that Nils Lofgren joined the band this time, and the harmony and performance are so well-crafted that it feels like a time slip back to the 70s. As for the first day, while there was also a streaming video, the overall balance of the performance was of a better quality, and the flow of “Country Home” to “Don’t Cry No Tears”, reminiscent of their first performance in Japan, gave me goosebumps in total for 105 minutes. And even more amazing was the show on the 2nd, which lasted 92 minutes with astonishing sound quality, but the performance was even better than the previous day, and from “World On A String” onwards, the switch was literally turned on, and the strangely tight momentum did not fade until the end, especially from Nils, and Ralph Molina’s drumming was still active.
