From Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s first US tour in 1970, the performance in Santa Monica, California on March 28th is now available as a rare recording of the radio broadcast at the time! It seems to have been broadcast directly from the venue on local radio KUSC-FM, and although it is an audience recording level recording, it can be said to be a valuable record of live recordings from this period. During the band introduction, they gave a speech about their first performance in Los Angeles, and also performed “Clancy Doesn’t Sing” from their Buffalo Springfield days! 01. On The Way Home 02.
