Description
Introducing an item that uses the DJ remaster disc of Neil Young & Crazy Horse’s Sleeps With Angels released in 1994, which was distributed to radio DJs. This album was Neil’s first in a long time to reach the top 10 of the US charts, and was the first time in 22 years that he ranked within the top 3 of the UK charts. It was also said that the title song was sung about Kurt Cobain, who passed away the previous year, but Neil himself seems to have avoided making a statement. The album jacket gives off a mysterious atmosphere, and the members of Crazy Horse seem to have described it as a mysterious album, but the opening and ending songs are sung with piano accompaniment, and the country-folk style. This album can be interpreted as a mix of Neil’s gentleness and intensity. Now, this DJ-only Bromo CD has been remastered for broadcasting. However, the difference is very difficult to understand, and the total time is only a few tens of seconds, but it is different from the released version, so there is no doubt that the disc was purposely produced for this DJ-only disc (each song is only a few seconds long) (the length is different from the disc on which it was released). I’m sure there are quite a few fans who remember that at the time this album was released, this DJ-only remastered version was a rare item that was distributed in small numbers on the market. It seems to be an item that is hard to see even after more than a quarter of a century. Neil has a strict opinion on CDs as a medium, so I wonder when this DJ-only remastered version will see the light of day again. Enjoy Sleeps With Angels remastered for broadcast with this item!
