Mr.Big’s first day of the 2017 Japan tour, September 20th, Nitori Bunka Hall: Sapporo Main Live in Japan This is a complete set that includes a full band rehearsal (including public rehearsals) that took place over about 70 minutes. This is the first Japan tour in three years since the last time they came to Japan, and Pat, who is currently undergoing treatment for an illness, also participated in the tour. Due to the good sales of their new album “Defying Gravity,” the performance was quite high-tension, with three songs from the new album being performed, and the rest was a mix of new and old hits. The members were also very excited, and they performed the Sapporo performance set without taking an encore break, making it a live performance worthy of the first day’s performance. The bonus track includes the first half of the sound check, a track with only guitar, bass, and drums. The full version of GFR’s “We Are American Band,” which was not performed at the Sapporo performance, is included. The full band rehearsal disc conveys the tension of the members, who worked until the very last moment before the doors opened, preparing for the first day of the Japan tour. The sound quality is h_SBD and multiple IEM sources are used. There are some areas where noise is introduced due to radio wave disturbance and it feels unstable, but you can enjoy high quality sound while feeling a sense of directness and separation.
