Description

The release of the biopic “The Dirt: The Autobiography of Motley Crue” is finally approaching, and MOTLEY CRUE’s new songs “The Dirt (Est. 1981)” and covers of “Like A Virgin” have been making waves. This week, the super-excellent live album from 1986, when they were running at full throttle towards their peak, will be released! This work includes “Sheffield performance on February 13, 1986”. Yes, “WELCOME TO THE THEATER OF PAIN” is an upgraded masterpiece. The biggest point of this work is the miraculous, superb sound, but first of all, the show position. Let’s take a look at the overall picture of “THEATER OF PAIN TOUR 1985/1986” that shook the whole world. ●1985《June 21st “THEATER OF PAIN”》・July 7th-15th: First visit to Japan (7 performances)・July 31st-December 21st: North America (92 performances)・1986・January 22nd-February 3rd: Europe #1 (10 performances) February 6th – 15th: UK (9 performances) ←★Here★ February 19th – March 3rd: Europe #2 (10 performances)《November “GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS” production begins》 This is MOTLEY CRUE in 1985/1986. The tour started with the legendary first visit to Japan and took the world by storm with a total of 127 performances. This work is the “British” leg of the final stage. They made their first trip to England in 1984, but at that time there were only two performances, including MONSTERS OF ROCK. On the other hand, “THEATER OF PAIN TOUR” was a large-scale tour with 9 performances in total. It’s surprising that we were able to follow that CHEAP TRICK as the undercard, but this is MOTLEY CRUE’s biggest UK tour ever, which has never been surpassed to date. The Sheffield performance of this work was the seventh such “British” concert. This work, which records such a show, is a truly miraculous masterpiece recording. The person who created it was the master craftsman “Crazy S.”. He is a person who left many masterpieces and recordings throughout the 1980s, but his peak, when he was truly a god, was in 1986 when he gave the final blow. During this period, there were many strange recordings that could not be explained by equipment or technique alone, such as Accept’s “WAR COMMANDER”, Twisted Sister’s “COME OUT AND PLAY IN NOTTINGHAM”, Ozzy Osbourne’s “MONSTERS OF ROCK”, and Marillion’s “MONSTERS OF ROCK”. “WELCOME TO THE GARDEN PARTY: MILTON KEYNES 1986”, Queen’s “DEFINITIVE KNEBWORTH” 1986”, Iron Maiden’s “CAUGHT SOMEWHERE IN LEICESTER”, and many other historic recordings, both indoors and outdoors. This work is also one of such super famous recordings. As soon as it was introduced as “WELCOME TO THE THEATER OF PAIN”, enthusiasts all over the world were in an uproar due to the high sound quality. The standards of the MOTLEY CRUE audience have been raised dramatically. “Crazy S.”’s original cassette has been re-digitized using the latest equipment. It is a super-superb record that has updated the highest peak of supreme recording. In fact, the sound is overwhelming. The previously released version had a super clear sound that surprised the world, but this work is even more vivid. The core is closer than the venue acoustics, giving it a direct feel as if the recording position itself was about 3 or 4 rows in front. I knew it was a great recording, but I had no idea that the Omoto cassette had recorded this much sound… This is an upgrade that once again shows us the wonders of miracles. The updated sound depicts a passionate performance by MOTLEY CRUE, who is passionate about invading HR’s homeland of England. The set is a special concentrated version of the two great albums “SHOUT AT THE DEVIL” and “THEATER OF PAIN”. “Live Wire” and Elvis’ cover “Jailhouse Rock” are also played, but the rest are 6 songs each neatly selected from the 2 discs. “Red Hot” and “Louder Than Hell” can’t be heard on “LIVE: ENTERTAINMENT OR DEATH,” and even more so, “Use It Or Lose It,” “Fight For Your Rights,” and “Keep Your Eye On The Money.” I only played it on this tour. The tape change, which is the fate of cassette recording, is also done between drum solos, so it doesn’t feel strange, and you can experience the full stage, including valuable numbers, at once with the miraculous quality of a barefoot sound board. MOTLEY CRUE doesn’t officially have a full live album from their heyday. Moreover, this work is a scorching record filled with rock that burns to conquer the world.
