Description
This work includes “October 19, 1985 Montreal Performance”. This is an audience shot that records the whole story. While the main story was in 1986, this work is in 1985, but both are the same “THEATER OF PAIN TOUR”. It was a concert that was the 56th performance of the “North American” tour according to the schedule in the main commentary. This work, which records such a show, is truly a masterpiece of audience seating photography. The shot was taken from a stand seat facing the stage, and what was surprising was the incredible sense of stability and spectacular view. Perhaps because I was in the front row of the stands, the shadows of the audience in front of me were not reflected at all, and only the stage occupied my view. Standing seats means there is distance, but the bold zoom offsets that. This is really amazing. Vince Neil and Nikki Sixx run around the wide stage in all directions, but the screen is not disturbed at all while approaching them closely. If you pull it back all the way, you can get a panoramic view of the stage, and at maximum zoom, the members come close enough to fill half the screen. Approaching the limits of the equipment available at the time, he swung from side to side while still in close-up. Normally, you wouldn’t have to worry about it being shaky due to camera shake, but it’s stable. It seems that he didn’t use a tripod, but I wonder how he was able to take such crisp shots… It ended up being long due to the camera work alone, but the master’s level of freshness in conveying such a design to the present day is also impressive. Since it was digitized directly from a recently discovered master tape, there are no dubbing marks, and it has been further refined with digital mastering. It is a beautiful image where the scene of the time is exactly reproduced in front of your eyes. What is depicted with that quality is a full show of MOTLEY CRUE, who is trying to take over the whole world. The show itself is long as it is the main battlefield of North America. They even performed “Piece Of Your Action” and “Knock ‘Em Dead Kid.” As a result, you can witness up to 8 of the 11 songs (including In The Beginning) of “SHOUT AT THE DEVIL”. And the highlight is the drum solo. It doesn’t rotate or move on a coaster like it did in later years, but just tilts forward 90 degrees, but at the time this alone was shocking. Although the audience is not shown in this film, the excitement can be felt in a very real way. This scene is a spectacle that can only be achieved with the help of video. A miraculous recording born from “THEATER OF PAIN TOUR” and a masterpiece shot with zero obstructions. This is a superb set that seems to have reached the pinnacle of what an 80’s audience record could achieve. You can experience the young MOTLEY CRUE who was taking the world by storm with his super quality. Live at Montreal Forum, Montreal, Quebec, Canada 19th October 1985 AMAZING SHOT!!! 1.
