Description

This is Morrissey’s fourth visit to Japan, his first in 10 years since Summer Sonic in 2002, and his first solo performance in 17 years since 1995. The first performance was held at Zepp Sendai on April 19th, and the first performance was held at the Zepp Sendai on April 19th. This performance was recorded in full digital audience recording. Although only about 200 people attended the Sendai performance in a venue with a capacity of 1500, the stable sound at the front of the venue reproduced the scene of the day, and the band’s performance was vacuum-packed beautifully. In particular, the powerful bass sounds of the huge drums and bass drums at the end of “How Soon Is Now?” and “Meat Is Murder” gave me goosebumps. The show started with Morrissey’s MC, “We came over mountains, valleys, and seas. And “Everyday Is Like Sendai”. After the first song “Everyday Is Like Sunday”, he played a series of representative songs from his solo days, including five Smith numbers. And perhaps because the audience was small, the atmosphere was homey, and Morrissey was in a good mood from start to finish, joking around in response to the cheers of the audience and handing the microphone to the audience. Then, for the encore, after the MC “No matter where you go, no matter what happens, don’t forget me,” he played The Smiths’ classic “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out.” This song is rare, as it was only performed at this Sendai concert and Hiroshima. The sound quality, content, and set list are all excellent, making this the definitive first day of the Japan tour. Disc 1 : 1. Intro. 2. Everyday Is Like Sunday 3. First Of The Gang To Die 4.
