Description
Ronnie Montrose died of prostate cancer at the age of 64 on March 3, 2012. This is a precious live recording from Montrose’s heyday, known for forming the band after he left the Edgar Winter Group and for the fact that Sammy Hagar was also a member. This was recorded after the release of their second album, “Paper Money,” and was recorded by the high-quality soundboard master of the time, so fans must listen! It features first-generation member Sammy Hagar, who later joined Van Halen, and Denny Carmasi, who is also well-known as the drummer for HEART and Whitesnake. Every song is worth listening to, with the powerful hard rock of the four talented musicians. This is Montrose’s first European debut live performance, and it is a must-listen live document that overwhelms the audience with an extremely powerful performance. In any case, Ronnie continued to work solo and with Gamma, and his death is regrettable, as he was a pioneer of the American hard rock scene until recently and was very active.
