Famous Miles enthusiasts from overseas have created a 24-bit digital reproduction of the 1983 world tour that started with the Denver show on January 29th and the two-day Festival Hall show in Osaka on May 25th and 26th. Introducing the definitive version of the mastered sound source that was released on CD for the first time. To confirm the performance in Japan in 1983, May 18th: Sapporo May 20th: Sendai/Miyagi Prefectural Hall May 24th: Nagoya/City Public Hall May 25th: Osaka/Festival Hall May 26th : Osaka, Festival Hall May 29th: Tokyo, Yomiuri Land EAST Incidentally, the Osaka performance on May 26th will be Miles’ 57th birthday live. Now, the jazz master edition released 25 years ago was an audience sound source that was digitized from a cassette tape that had deteriorated over time, and had various problems with balance, pitch, noise, etc. In this remastered version, the sound source on the 25th was corrected by lowering the left channel by 1:03db from the left and right balance. Also, the tape speed has been lowered by about 70cts to successfully restore the degraded sound source. Furthermore, the hissing noise is reduced to an absolute minimum, allowing you to enjoy your music without any stress. It is a wonderful title that reproduces the stage where two unique guitarists, John Sco and Mike Stern, compete against each other with a realistic sound image, allowing you to feel the groove created by the Miles Band that you can never experience in the previous work.
