Description
Miles has been fond of playing Prince-related songs at his live shows since the late 1980s, but at this Pescara performance in Italy, a very valuable live recording of Sheila E. & Prince Revolution’s smash hit “A Love Bizarre” was released. Moreover, the original source is an edited version of three excavated tapes, so even though it is an audience recording, the sound quality is safe and enjoyable. In his later years, Miles played Prince-related songs on stage, including Movie Star and Penetration, as well as the title song “Jailbait,” “Are You Legally Yet,” and “A Girl and Her Puppy” from the famous album “Jailbait,” which is highly valued by enthusiasts, but at this Pescara performance, the rare “A Love Bizarre” is played firmly from the intro. This song, which was a big hit for Sheila E., was released in 1985 on Prince’s own label, Paisley Park, and was produced by Prince and Sheila E., of course, and is a pop and funky number.
