This release features a full 1 hour and 46 minute recording of the January 26th Tokyo NHK Hall concert, the opening night of the “MY YEARS WITH UFO” Japan tour, which consisted entirely of UFO songs in 2026. The recording was made available from a digital audience master released by the taper. Michael’s guitar sound is particularly outstanding, with even the subtle nuances of his vibrato and bending reproduced with remarkable clarity. This all-UFO set, which can finally be seen in Japan, is a UFO best-of live performance that includes an instrumental medley, just like the performances around the world in the previous years. However, the lineup for this Japanese show has been completely revamped, with former Skid Row member Eric Grönwall returning on vocals, former Dream Theater member Derek Sherinian on keyboards, and former Whitesnake member Brian Tichy on drums. This lineup of seasoned veterans is a major highlight, as it is exclusive to Japan.
