Description

A new series of shocking super-excellent original recordings has been born! Previously unknown soundboard-class master collections are being newly unearthed one after another. The first of the series, three super masterpieces, will be released at once. The first to be released in the new master collection are Yngwie Malmsteen, EUROPE, and Michael Schenker. This work is the Schenker edition. It is a super-class audience recording of the “November 13, 2006: Namba Hatch” performance, which came back to Japan on the 25th anniversary tour. Speaking of Michael Schenker in 2006, he is remembered for the “Nakano Nightmare Incident” in which he slammed his guitar on the first three songs and left, but it was only that one day that was terrible. Of course, this work is a different performance where the full show was held without any problems. To recall the circumstances around that, let’s first look back at the schedule at that time. 2006 November 13: Namba Hatch ←★This work★ ・November 14: Diamond Hall ・November 16: Nakano Sun Plaza ・November 17: Nakano Sun Plaza (interrupted after 3 songs) ・November 18: Zepp Sapporo 2007 (revisited) ・February 25: Nakano Sun Plaza (rescheduled performance) ・February 26: SHIBUYA-AX [Fully official world premiere master] This is the 2006/2007 Japan visit. Initially, the 25th anniversary visit to Japan was scheduled for a total of 5 performances, but an incident broke out on the second day in Nakano. Three months later, they returned to Japan for a rescheduled performance. The Osaka performance of this work was the first night when no one could have imagined such an incident waiting. This work, which vacuum-packs such a show, is truly a “transcendent” live album. Like the simultaneous releases of Yngwie’s “OSAKA 2001 DAT MASTER” and EUROPE’s “HIROSHIMA 2005 DAT MASTER”, this is an audience recording handed over directly to the recorder himself, but the sound that flows out is like a sound board… no, it’s just like an official work. On, the zero distance feeling of the extremely thick core, the wonderful separation of each instrument. From the start of each sound to the silence, the details are clear. What on earth is this “audience recording”? Even when I see the recorder’s own original DAT, I can’t help but wonder if it’s actually a leaked sound board. [Official substitute for the Jari era that the official overlooked] Such an ultra sound depicts a full show that should be called “the masterpiece of the Jari Tiura era”. MSG was rebooted in 1996, but the singers changed frequently until Gary Barden returned in 2010. I’m sure there are many people who haven’t been able to keep up with it. This is a good opportunity, so let’s briefly summarize each singer and their representative live works. 《1996: MSG Reboot》1996-1997 Singers: David Van Landing & Leif Sundin Representative work: Official “THE MICHAEL SCHENKER STORY LIVE”1998-2000 Singers: Keith Slack & Kelly Keeling Representative work: Official “THE UNFORGIVEN WORLD TOUR”2001-2004 Singer: Chris Logan Representative work: Official “WORLD WIDE LIVE 2004” June 2005-August 2007 Singer: Jari Tiura Representative work: ★This work! ★《December 2007: Gary Barden Returns》These are the six singers who replaced each other from the reboot to Barden’s return (there were also live performances in which Sundin and Barden returned as pinch hits for a moment, but I’ve omitted them for clarity). Five of them left their mark on the official live albums, with the only exception being Jari Tiura, who was also the main singer of “TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL”. Yes, this is the “official replacement for MSG in the Jari era” that was overlooked by the official. The precious “TALES OF ROCK’N’ROLL” numbers and the revival song “But I Want More” that was not heard at the 30th anniversary live are delicious, but more than that, the existence itself is equivalent to the official work. This is a super-excellent full live album that symbolizes one era in Michael Schenker’s history. A super-class audience recording of the “Namba Hatch” performance on November 13, 2006. The original recording will be released to the world for the first time, and the zero distance feeling of the extremely thick core on, the splendid separation of each instrument… everything is transcendent. Even in front of the original DAT of the recorder himself, it is a tremendous recording that makes you wonder “Isn’t it actually a leaked sound board?” It is an absolute work that “official substitute” that allows you to enjoy the full show of the Jari Tiura era, when no official live works were left.
