Description

A live album containing the historic feast of Michael Schenker and Graham Bonnet is now available! The sight of both males standing side by side was a miracle that happened in Japan in June 2015, but it had only happened once outside of Japan. That is the “August 1, 2015 Cerebro Performance” where this work was recorded. It was “ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL 2015” in Michael’s home country Germany. This festival will be held over three days, and MICHAEL SCHENKER’S TEMPLE OF ROCK will be on the second day. GRAHAM BONNET BAND did not appear, but Graham took the stage as a special guest and performed a dream scene with “Desert Song” and “Assault Attack” just like in Japan. This work, which includes “ROCK OF AGES FESTIVAL 2015”, is also an amazing audience recording. The five performances that took place in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, Japan, were completed with ultra-high sound quality that Japan’s top tapers staked their pride on, and were compiled into “SPIRIT ON A MISSION IN JAPAN: OSAKA & NAGOYA” and “TOKYO 3 NIGHTS.” However, this work has a wonderful sound that is comparable to those masterpieces. Unlike the Japanese recordings where you can listen to the miraculous feast, the sound of a festival where you can hear faint conversations during the live shows that it is an audience recording, but the thickness and directness of the musical tones that dominates it. could surpass even the Japanese performance. Michael’s recent recordings have what can be called “just like a sound board”, and this work is no exception. However, although the sound sources that appeared online were of extremely high quality, they were somewhat artificial and lacked a sense of spaciousness. Therefore, in order to bring this miraculous feast to its ultimate form, we carried out meticulous mastering. We created a balance that gives a more natural sense of spaciousness. Even if you have heard the sound source online, we would like you to enjoy this natural “on-site feeling” with headphones. The show that unfolds with such an ultimate sound is a series of highlights from the beginning… and it is a noboru thing to explain in detail. In any case, it will be “Desert Song” and “Assault Attack” where Graham and Michael stand side by side! “Desert Song” is where Graham appears, introduced by Doogie White as MC. I thought the audience would make a fuss when they heard that name, but surprisingly, it wasn’t. Of course, there are loud voices shouting “Wohhhhh!” and “Graham Bonnet!!”, but there is no atmosphere of commotion or shock like in Japan. why? Why?! Even though something so amazing is happening… “Desert Song” begins with such a feeling of Japanese people… Oh my God! Graham is in better shape than in Japan!! His smooth vocalization colors this historic masterpiece and super feast. Despite the powerful and deep singing voice that accompanied the tearful solo, the audience remained relatively unfazed. There was also clapping, so it didn’t seem like he was listening at all… That calm atmosphere is all the more frustrating, and that’s why the high-quality sound is so satisfying. An amazing performance that is hard to describe is unfolding. And “Assault Attack” at the end of the show. From the previous song “Holiday”, Graham appeared again without any kind of introduction. Although it is a duet with Dougie like in Japan, the singing performance surpasses that of the Japanese performance. Of course, it is not a “studio street that is exactly the same from corner to corner”, but there is no sense of danger or instability at all. The naturalness of the song is beautiful, as if a regular singer is singing as usual. How wonderful… Despite this, the German audience also treated this as “normally the next song,” and the SCORPIONS numbers before and after were far more excited. This was the only day outside of Japan where Graham and Michael’s feast was held, and for that reason, it is definitely the best in the world and the best in history. Even though I was witnessing such a transcendental miracle before my eyes, if I came with you… That’s fine, because it allows us to listen to a great live album. Among the miracles that occurred in 2015, the first-class star “Schenker & Bonnet Feast” shined particularly brightly. I was able to listen to 5 performances in Japan, but this work is the 6th one that contains the best performance. At the Japan performance, I was excited, saying, “Next time will be Graham & MSG!”, but so far there has been no movement. In the end, I wonder if this will be the end of this 6th episode, and I want to see the continuation of the dream… That feeling is only growing, but for now, this is the last episode. A two-disc set that ultimately refines the best recordings. This miracle is a live album that we must listen to because perhaps only Japanese people can appreciate it the most!
