Michael Jackson Thriller Original Demo Versions Album and Rare Unreleased Tracks

The second installment of the latest alternate collection of Michael Jackson’s masterpiece “Thriller,” the best-selling album of all time, includes demo versions of all the songs on the album, as well as rare recordings including collaborations with Paul McCartney and Freddie Mercury, all remastered in 2025 on 2CD. First of all, this historic masterpiece was officially released in 2008 for its 25th anniversary and in 2022 for its 40th anniversary, but this time it is an alternate collection with the latest 2025 edit, the second of which is “More Than Thriller.” First, Disc: 1 contains all the songs on the album in their original demo versions, consisting of home demos before the album was completed, outtakes from the early stages, recording session recordings, etc., and the lyrics are different, the songs themselves are unfinished, and the original sound sources before overdubs were applied are reconstructed, so to speak, in a naked version of “Thriller.” The latter half of the disc and Disc 2 compile songs not included in the album, studio outtakes and demos. These include the original versions of songs that were recorded at the same time as “Thriller” but were ultimately shelved, songs that were later re-recorded and revived, and even legendary unreleased recording tracks with Paul McCartney and Freddie Mercury, all of which are noteworthy rare recordings. In particular, the precious session recording of “Say Say Say” with Paul, which was co-written and recorded in 1981 before “The Girl Is Mine”, and the unreleased version of “There Must Be More To Life”, a collaboration with Freddie, whose Queen version was later officially released, are not officially released until now, so be sure to check them out. This title, which reconstructs the timeless masterpiece “Thriller” with a new editing different from the previous ones, is a limited collector’s edition that fans must have along with the first release, “Another Thriller”.
