Before the production of “BLACK ALBUM” in 1990, the short Euro tour, which only had 11 performances, was released on CD from the original audience cassette that was recently unearthed. The performance in Dortmund, Germany on May 17th was released directly on CD. The audience sound was simply amazing, and while there was the vividness and reality of the cheers that can only be achieved with an audience recording, the overall balance and sharpness of the edges were of soundboard level quality, and the spectacle of the chorus in particular was goosebump-inducing. The set was a comprehensive best-of from “KILL EM’ ALL” to “…AND JUSTICE FOR ALL”, opening with “Creeping Death”, with a lot of sprinting numbers, and compared to the official videos of the same period, there were more numbers such as “No Remorse”, “The Shortest Straw”, “Helpless” and “Motorbreath”. In particular, “The Shortest Straw” from “…AND JUSTICE FOR ALL” was not performed on the previous tour, but was performed for the first time on this mini-tour.The band delivers an ultra-heavy, big-scale performance with a thunderous metal sound, and the groove is also beautifully reproduced, making this a must-listen for fans, lasting a total of 2 hours and 20 minutes.
