From MEGADETH’s 2017 Japan tour, the Tokyo performances held on May 18th and 19th at Zepp Divercity Tokyo are fully recorded on 4 discs! This is a super high quality record that has been 24-bit digitally remastered from the label’s original super high quality audience source. This is a wonderful piece that directly conveys the good acoustic environment of Zepp Divercity and the enthusiasm of the venue that was sold out on both days. In the encore of the first performance on the 18th, “Outshined” was played in tribute to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, who passed away that day, and it can be said to be a rare song. The set list on the following day, the 19th, was significantly changed, and not only was the order of the songs changed, but it is also nice to see the inclusion of early songs such as “Skin o’ My Teeth”, “Dawn Patrol”, “Poison Was the Cure” and “Mechanix”. The songs on the new album “Dystopia” are also of great quality, and you can enjoy Kiko Loureiro’s superb technique everywhere.
