Description
The 1995 US tour of the Golden Four, Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson, Marty Friedman, and Nick Menza, includes a complete recording of the Clarkston performance on July 22nd in master quality, pro-shot footage, spanning 83 minutes. First of all, while the live footage from this period was officially released as a Hammersmith performance, the Hammersmith footage on “WARCHEST” was shortened from the time of broadcast, and was further cut when it was made official, making it an incomplete content. Although there are cuts between songs in this title, it is nice that in addition to all 15 songs, Marty, Mustaine, and Ellefson’s solos are also firmly recorded. The set was a greatest hits set, with the band’s signature songs, which were played one after the other, including “Angry Again,” a new song from the time that was provided for the movie “Last Action Hero,” “Reckoning Day” and “Train Of Consequences,” which have impressive rhythms from “YOUTHANASIA,” and “Paranoid,” a cover of the tribute album, which are still played today. This is a rare gem that conveys the performance of the pinnacle of thrash metal. 1. Intro 2. Skin My Teeth 3. Hangar 18 4. Wake Up Dead 5. Reckoning Day 6. Angry Again 7. Marty Solo 8.
