Description

The long-awaited rare live CD of high-tone trumpeter Maynard Ferguson’s performance in Japan from his 1976 performance in Nagoya on June 12th recorded on a sound board owned by enthusiasts has been released. That same year, the Maynard Ferguson Big Band was overwhelmingly popular around the world, having performed as a soloist with just one trumpet at the opening ceremony of the 1976 Montreal Olympics.
