Madison/Unreleased 3rd Album Demo Sessions 1988

MADISON, a Swedish band that was expected to be the second Europe, released two albums and performed in Japan in 1987. This demo session of their third album, recorded in 1988 but unreleased, is now available! The band produced famous vocalist Goran Edman, who later worked with Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum, but this demo was produced with Pete Sandberg, who joined the band as his replacement after Edman’s departure. He also left the band in a short time and later made a name for himself with ALIEN and MIDNIGHT SUN, but the band broke up in 1989. This album includes 10 demo songs recorded in 1988, as well as two additional versions of their precious last single, “NORTHERN LIGHT,” released the following year in 1989. The early sense of speed has faded and the music is more AOR-like, but the transparency unique to Nordic bands has increased, making this a must-have for Nordic metal fans!
