Description
This is a live sound source by a trio based on Lou Reed’s well-known controversial work “Metal Machine Music.” Disc 1, which sounds like Brian Eno’s ambient music, is quiet and gives you a sense of something to come. Disc 2 is a “motion” in which noisy guitars and freaky saxophones scream through an electric haze. The reason why it was released on a jazz label even though it’s Lou Reed’s music is probably because it has some similarities to free jazz. Or is it a sign of ECM system? In any case, I do not recommend it to those who like pop Lou Reed. Highly recommended for those who like ambient and noise music.
