This two-disc set features the complete live performance from March 23rd at New York’s St. James Theatre, part of the tour supporting the release of Lou Reed’s 15th solo album, “New York,” released in 1989. The album is widely considered the best of his solo career. The first half of the show features eight tracks from the album, including standouts like “Busload of Faith,” “Halloween Parade,” and “Dirty Blvd.” The second half features seven tracks, including the Velvet Underground’s “Rock and Roll” and “Sweet Jane,” as well as “Walk on the Wild Side” from the 1972 classic “Transformers.” Experience Lou Reed’s rare 1989 live performance in stunning sound.
